I’ve been checking out this Chicago based website Colossal, they put up a lot of cool stuff like this polar bear made out of zip ties, or not too long ago there was a paper  artist whose use of corrugated cardboard somehow didn’t seem to detract from the realism of her figures. I don’t know what it is about re-purposing everyday objects as art that attracts me so much. I think it speaks to my love of problem solving, an artist that creates from everyday objects, while perhaps not displaying traditional artistic talent really floats my boat.
